In 2026, Colton will be serving as a test and reserve driver for the new Cadillac Formula 1 Team, which is making its debut in the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship. In that role he participates in simulator work, testing duties, and may get Formula 1 practice sessions, helping both his own development and the team’s progress.
Focusing on expanding his experience beyond INDYCAR, Colton is racing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship to gain more exposure on Formula 1 weekends and work towards a future in Formula 1.
Colton is also expected to make select starts in IMSA sports car racing with Cadillac | Wayne Taylor Racing, keeping a presence in endurance competition while prioritizing his European open-wheel campaign.
