  •  The Bommarito Automotive Group 500 will be the 13th INDYCAR SERIES race at World Wide Technology Raceway and the sixth since the series returned to the short oval in 2017 after a 13-year break. It will also be the fourth and final oval race of the 2021 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season. 
  • Coming off his third podium finish of the season, Colton Herta has never finished outside of the top 10 and has one top-five finish (4th, 2020 – Race 1) in his three starts on the short oval.
