Colton Herta showed dominance in car speed for most of the race, leading 33 laps after starting from the Pole position. The No. 26 ultimately fell back in the closing stint due to fuel conservation. Herta recorded a 24th career top-five finish.

THE RACE
The 55-lap race saw four caution periods and a total of 444 on-track passes. This marks the most passes since INDYCAR’s return to The National Park of Speed in 2016.
The repaved 4.048-mile track of Road America showed nine lead changes throughout the race.

“The No. 26 Gainbridge Honda was fast and we had pace to be up front. We were cruising all day, just saving fuel and never really got to show our true pace, which is unfortunate. Although, leaving the track with double digits on poles is nice, I just think we’ll have to review the data we got this weekend and get ready for the next race.”
