Still Smiling from St. Pete Victory, Colton Turns his Focus to Texas

GENESYS 300 AND XPEL 375

  • OF NOTE:
  • This weekend’s doubleheader at Texas Motor Speedway will be the first two-race event since 2011 with the Genesys 300 on Saturday and the XPEL 375 on Sunday. It will also be the first time the INDYCAR SERIES race at TMS will be held in May, with the previous 32 races running in June, following the Indy 500. 
  • Andretti Autosport has 82 starts at Texas Motor Speedway with one win (Kanaan-2004), two poles (Franchitti-2004, Munoz-2016), 14 podiums and over 600 laps led.  
  • Colton Herta heads into the Texas doubleheader weekend after sweeping the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg weekend winning both the pole and the race and setting a St. Pete record with most laps led (97/100).
