NTT INDYCAR SERIES HONDA 200 AT MID-OHIO Morning rain showers ushered in plenty of drama for the split-field qualifying session, as drivers worked to navigate the wet-but-drying track. The result was multiple red flags and lost track time for all. Capstone Racing driver Colton Herta came away with his first pole of the 2020 season, and first at the 2.258-mile track. The race saw an exciting first lap via a multi-car incident, but the Andretti stable came through clean. Herta, Alexander Rossi and Ryan Hunter-Reay quickly showed their dominance and went on to capture a sweep of the podium for the Andretti Autosport Honda team. The INDYCAR Harvest GP Doubleheader weekend kicks off Oct. 1 with practice and qualifying, followed by races Oct. 2 and Oct. 3, live broadcast on USA and NBC, respectively. No. 88 CAPSTONE TURBINE #SHIFTTOGREEN HONDA “We’ve been knocking on the door almost every week and we’ve had the pace but for some reason or another something has gone wrong, but we finally put everything together. We got the pole this morning, had a stellar car – everyone on the Capstone Turbine crew gave me an incredible car and it was an Andretti-Honda 1-2-3 so really proud to be powered by Honda, too. We just need to stay on the podium, because it seems like the only time we’re on the podium is when we’re winning.” |
