THE RACE
The Hy-Vee One Step 250 presented by Gatorade marked the 19th time the NTT INDYCAR SERIES has raced at the 7/8-mile oval in Newton, Iowa.
The 250-lap race saw three caution periods, totaling 37 laps of yellow-flag running.
Iowa Speedway saw nine lead changes throughout the race among six drivers, with a total of 1,168 passes.

“It was an okay day. I think we got the maximum of what we were able to do this weekend. We struggled with balance and didn’t seem to have the pace that a lot of other guys had around us, so I think today was kind of an overachievement for us. The car felt much better than yesterday, so we made slight improvements but still need to chip away at trying to beat some of these other guys.”
